It took two long days and a very complicated operation to rescue a baby goat trapped in a 250-foot irrigation pipe. Thanks to the efforts of Humane Society volunteers, the 8-month-old goat was rescued in Arizona.

After roughly six hours the rescuers managed to save little goat's life fallen in the 250-foot irrigation pipe

After receiving a call from an anxious citizen who could hear a goat bleating from a neighbor’s house, the Humane Society went to the scene to investigate.

The goats were trapped somewhere in the basement and it proved very difficult to determine their exact location.

The rescue teams had to postpone the operation due to lack of the necessary rescue equipment. The next day they returned with a snake camera to locate the goat.

Unfortunately, this clever device was useless. Short on time, the team decided to dig a hole near the pipe entrance. The savvy rescuers had to rely on their intuition. So they started chipping away at the concrete and drilled a hole.

After roughly six hours the rescuers managed to save little goat's life fallen in the 250-foot irrigation pipe

Fortunately, they were very close to the poor little goat, only four feet from the hole they had dug. Then the team managed to get to the helpless creature.

The goat’s owner grabbed the horns of the frightened goat to keep it from moving, which allowed the rescuers to work without harming the goat.

After six hours of hard work, the rescue party finally saved the goat. The poor goat could have drowned in the pipe if the rescuers had not saved it.
